SYFS Clinical Internship Program
SYFS offers a successful and rigorous internship program for students enrolled in a Master’s level counseling or social work program. Interns are expected to carry a clinical caseload of individuals of all ages, the majority of whom are children and youth. All of our interns provide case management services to local residents and are required to dedicate at least 2 hours every week to do so. We also offer a variety of group experiences to those who are interested. Depending on the timing of the internship, placements at various off-site locations are available. Individual supervision is provided weekly by an LICSW and group supervision/training is required every Thursday at 1pm. SYFS accepts MSW and MHC students who are able to commit to a year-long placement (practicum and/or internship).
