SYFS Clinical Internship Program
SYFS offers a rigorous internship program for students enrolled in a Master’s level counseling or social work program. Interns are expected to carry a clinical caseload of individuals of all ages, the majority of whom are children and youth. They are also placed in a local school one day per week. All of our interns provide case management services to local residents and are required to dedicate at least 2 hours every week to do so. We also offer a variety of group experiences to those who are interested. Individual supervision is provided weekly by an LICSW and group supervision/training is offered every Thursday. SYFS only accepts second year MSW students and full year counseling students.
